Bowland Foods operate from a modern Cutting Plant which was re-built in 2003, when state of the art materials were incorporated.

Bowland Foods was founded in 1979 and has since its foundation, has been owned by the Wood Family, all of whom are still involved in the running of the business, ensuring a personal and efficient service for customers.

Jimmy Wood is Managing Director with wife Vikki is the Company Secretary and both work within the company on a daily basis. With son Harry Wood running day to day business as operations director alongside Peter Briggs director of pork production and sales and Hannah Wood purchasing manager.
The Wood family have a farming background and continue their farming interests with their well-known Popes Simmentals, one of the top pedigree Simmental Herds in the UK. The family are all noted livestock judges and are highly regarded in the agricultural industry gaining many top awards and sales prices over the years.
